In accordance to federal shipping regulations, lithium ion batteries are classified as a hazardous material. Extra time is required to package and get the right paperwork for this process.
Packaging & Certification
Batteries must go through Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) certification and approval before it leaves out warehouse. This can take between 5-7 business days after you’ve placed your order. After certification, another 3-5 business days is required for a battery to leave our warehouse.
Transit Times
Regulations require batteries be delivered using ground transportation. Transit times will vary depending on your location in the US.
Track Your Delivery Status
When the battery leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number from the shipping courier (e.g. FedEx). The courier’s tracking number will give you delivery updates and timelines.
